Two Points

I am a Chief Warrant Officer (CW4) in the American Volunteer Reserve (http://www.continuetoserve.org) and my rank was based on my prior military service in the United States Army, the South Carolina Army National Guard, the Maryland Naval Militia, and the California State Military Reserve in additio...

Supreme Commander game for PC

I just bought this game for my PC and it is perfect for creating whole armed forces and waging a theater level combined armes conflict. The game comes with a plot and story line for each of the three factions playable in he game. I, however, choose to design my own armed forces story and just play t...

I just have that one I think. I took that from some futuristic ranks that someone (you?) had made for this forum. Sorry if it was you and I didn't credit you. I modified it awhile ago and forgot about it.

I never intended to publish these or anything so I hope fair use is permissable?

Everybody must know Dr. Doom and the Fantastic Four. Well forget Doom from the crappy movie the real Doom is from the comics. Here is the small human force he keeps around to appease the local (human) population of Latveria. Armed forces: 2000, about a Regiment [img][img]http://i159.photobucket.com/...

Here is the massively Corrupt city-state of Madripoor. Wolverine of the X-men is drinking buddies with the terrorists that live here.
Police force is essentially none functioning hierarchy of bibes to be paid.

Marvel Comics Countries Featured in New Atlas

Last month Marvel Comics (think Spider-man) began a series of atlases that will reference all the fictional countries of promenance in their fictional universe. I picked it up and they have done a real nice job of making it look realistic like CIA Factbookish. I have done a few charts of the countri...

Iron Eagle movie

Anybody remember Iron Eagle?
I just watched it a few days ago.
It came out in the 1980's. I think it was supposed to mimic the bombing of Libya and Qaddafi.

I think the Great Admiral would continue to wear 4 cuff rings just like a general Admiral in charge of the Kreigsmarine would wear 4.

See I hold no rules to fictional/fantastical imaginary designs. No dress uniforms, no shoulder ranks. The space suit sleeve area is now the conventional evolution to rank placement in my 23rd C. (for instance my 87 yr old Grandfather laughed at me in my ACU's and would have never guessed the rank is...

Yeah I have been trying different things out with the positions of the stars. I'm sure it will change again and again till I'll satisfied. Thanks for the input though I will more than likely do it that way. Lordziba- This was never meant to be strictly Russia and it is hundreds of years after 1940 w...

CONQUEST OF SPACE 2200

These are gonna be a series of Charts for the nations that are carving out space empires in the 23rd century. Here are my early designs for the communist space forces. Their allies the Communist Chinese Space Collective will follow. Then the Allied Democratic/Capitalist Space forces And finally the ...

Look I want to remind every one here that on the cartoon FUTURAMA the "hero" of Earth Zapp Brannigan is a 25-star general. This takes place in the year 3000.

Sounds good all except way too many First Sergeants. There should only be one 1SG in a company. It would be counter to the position to have more than one.....like having more than one Commander to a unit or mother to a family.

CONJECTURAL CHART

Here is my take on the Naval ranks for the United Nations Defence Forces. In Halo 2 the uniform of Miranda Keyes clearly shows her in a gray jumpsuit with US style naval rank with the line star replaces by the insignia of a Commander, silver oal leaf. Shoulder boards are worn also. In the books the ...

Here is my idea for the Galactic Empire's Forces as of The Empire Strikes Back and the Return of the Jedi movies . This is disregarding the costume mishap where as everyone wore the same insignia in ROJ. [img]http://i159....

The Russian Armed forces Grades do not really correspond to American Armed forces grades. The Russian armed forces are smaller than American forces. The grade of General of the Army is really "Army General" and is not the same as American General of the Army. Russian Army Generals are rare...

Hello all, I really enjoy seeing people's addaptations and inventions of rank insignia. I am always courious as to why a country chooses it's symbols of authority. It is a form of art to me. So I am just as curious to your ranks as well. My question is what is the purpose of the imaginary States tha...
