Hi everyone
My last contact with Pavel was some 4 or 5 years ago. Since then I don't know what's going on with him.His last activity on facebook was in September 2015.

Does anyone knows anything about the author of those books? Is that someone from us - I mean forum members?
Does anyone looked into them if this is an original artwork or maybe "copy+paste" from somewhere?

As far as I know most illustrations are originaly made in Corel Draw (so it's vector graphics) and then converted to jpg or gif. At least Pavel, and Magnum (Mariusz) are using Corel.

To be more serious .... Identyfying the totally unknown insignia is not an easy task. The insignia systems used in various countries differ a lot. For example two bars on a shoulder strap could be French Lieutenant or Polish Corporal. Two stars could be US general or Polish 2nd lieutenant or Russian...

there are two ways:
first - you can look through the whole site and find them - this will take some time ;)
second - make scans of them and post into the forum - maybe someone more experienced will idenfify them faster

As I can see there are different approaches to the rank system - especially in the NCO/WO region.
Therefore I would like You all to post information of your homeland forces. Are the rank insignia reflecting the PERSONAL rank of a soldier or are they reflecting his position in the command chain?
