I'm not sure of indigenous traditions they may have, however the ethnic groups there are listed as Inuit (88%), Danish and other (12%), and official languages listed as Greenlandic (East Inuit), and Danish.

I imagine they would base much of it on Denmark's military and naval forces,(if they add a navy or coast guard), however a complete break with the mother country's traditions would not seem out of place either.

I've had the thought that a good metal, pin-on insignia for warrant officers would be gold triangles, (as the silver ones are used for officers.)

South Korea does something similar, with a gold diamond for their warrant officer rank (and silver for their officers.)
