commisaires general de brigade

hello , i have found the rank insignia of the so-called
" commisairre de general de brigade "
or " commisaire de general de division "
on this exellent website.
But are they real ranks? Is this an honorary rank?
Or are they just police officers within the French army?
Do they command combat units?
Or just administrative units?
Are there commisairre general d' armee ?
Thanks in advance.

correct

that is correct , i have found those rank insignia on "the international encyclopedia of uniform insignia" under the "French Army " of the present.
So : are those "commisaires de general de brigade" or "general de division" real ranks?
Or are these just policemen in the French army ?Do they have a special task?
do they outrank other "general de brigade" or "general de division "?
thanks in advance !

Is it possible that they are special ranks for generals that command a garrison, kind of like how the general commanding the Paris garrison used to wear 6 stars?

promotion sheet

I do not know if it means something like garrison commander.
But i Googled it and found what seemed to be an official document from or about the French Defense Ministry where the President of the French Republic promoted several générals de brigade to commisaires de général de brigade.
And in the same document he promoted a few commisaires de général de brigade to général de division.
Obviously there is some " promoting " goiing on.( French word used : " promotion" )
But what the task or appointment of such a " commisaire " is , wasn't mentioned in this document ( it was from 2006 en 2007 ,so very recent ).
And i didn't find any more info on Google.
Also this document mentioned that the were "commisaires colonel " beeing promoted to général de brigade. So there seems to be more going on.
Hopefully someone knows what ?
Thanks in advance.

found answer to own question

i found the answer to my own question.
Ah , well, i should have first looked for it my self, before i asked it here.So , I sorry for the inconvinience.
These "commisaires " are special officers , attached to regiments and regions of the French Army , and with the task of administration, law, logisticts , human resourses, and so on.
So they do not command combat units, as far as i understood it.
