International Islamic Mujahadeen Guard Corps

Hi Everyone!

Presented here are my illustrations of the insignia of rank worn by the personnel of the International Islamic Mujahadeen Guard Corps, (IIMGC).

Their uniforms (as well as their helmets) are black and bear a stong resemblance of those worn by the SS during WW2.

The Corps has personnel from every Islamic nation, and they serve as an additional military force for all Islamic nations, (so no single nation will never have to face an enemy alone.) They also work closely with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

They also provide guards for the embassies and consulates worldwide for all Islamic nations, and they also have a large special unit called the Mecca Garrison, which helps to protect that city.

That would make any Islamic fundamentalist, Sunni to Shiite, from OBL to Hezbollah, happy! smilies-01

And if I showed this to some right-wing sites, they might agree on the intentional symbolism.

(More "What-If" background):

The Mujahadeen Guard Corps has its Headquarters in the Islamic International Zone, (which was once known as Western Sahara), and was formerly occupied by Morocco.

The Islamic International Zone is also the seat of the Islamic Nations Defence Coalition, which is the governing body of the Mujahadeen Guard Corps, and many other support agencies.

The Mujahadeen Guard Corps carries out military functions and military operations on behalf of all Islamic nations, so no single Islamic nation's armed forces need be committed to action unless absolutely necessary.

The only thing bugs me about those insignias, they are too ... Imperial Japanese/Russian/Eastern European. Even though the attempt was to make the emphasis on Islamo-Nazis or so, the officers insignias should ether British (traditional), or more German style, but not this version. Maybe they should be changed?

Hi Lordziba!

I thought that the Hilal (Crescent moon and star), and the scimitars gave it a strong Islamic connection.

The fact that the insignia of rank itself has the Imperial Japanese/Russian/Eastern European look to it, was to try to get away from the British influence on rank insignia found in the armed forces of so many Arab/Islamic nations.
I wanted a break from that tradition.

As for the colour and style of the hemet and rest of the uniforms, making them look similar to those of the SS was thought, (by the Mujahadeen Guard Corps), to give them an air of menace, and a means of striking fear into their primary enemy, Israel.
