U.S. NAVY Chaplains (Military and Civilian)

Hi Everyone!

Presented here are my colour illustrations of the insignia of rank worn by U.S. NAVY Chaplains, (military and civilian.)

As in the other branches of the military, civilian chaplains are classed as officers, but without definite rank.

Re: U.S. NAVY Chaplains (Military and Civilian)

In Finland there are different badges for Lutheran and Orthodox chaplains. In Austria there are different badges for ordained and non-ordained (deacons, lecturers) staff. In Holland they have Atheist (Humanist) (!) chaplains for non-believers. In France there is a special badge for chaplains of the reserve.

Why not expand on that theme with different insignia for at least Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox padres?

Hi Luke!

I was definitely thinking along those lines.

What I'm trying to do first is to just introduce a "basic concept", upon which I'll expand upon later.
