Hey Chuck -- great site thanks

I had a chance to visit both Pitcairn & Norfolk Islands what a rush . I also met Constable Marsters who is the only Police Officer on the Island.

Only one cop on the whole island?!?!? What is the total population?

Actually it's pretty small about 50- 60 when I was there, an odd little island here you can not smoke or drink, a far cry I am sure from the days of their founding by the "HMS Bounty mutineers". You have to pay for a landing permit before you can go ashore, though generally if you have something good to trade thats OK as well

Norfolk Island has about 1,800 people and is where most of the Bounty descendants live today
