MANY years of working with powerpoint, a boring job iwth nothing else to do but mess around, and patience. :)
I created the images in powerpoint and then exported them as image files.

They are really great
I know how much work is needed to create such masterpieces like yours, because I also enjoy creating my own rank insignias ... in Paint :(

BTW Your ranks are somehow following the general british/commonwealth pattern, am I right?

I have been playing around with Powerpoint for many years.
Yes, I was asked by a friend to design a rank insignia system based more or less on the b/c system.
In the near future I will post links to some of the other insignias that I have designed for my friend.
