Dear friends
Years ago i had tryied to come in contact and inform those who were responsible for this article ( Kingdom of Greece 1950-1973/ Army)
I had no responce. Although I had sent them all the information needed for changing the basics.
Any way for those who are interested in Greek insignia, i will write some things.

In 1950 the insignia of brigadier had no star.
The insignia of major general had one star below Crown & crossed sword/baton
The Lt. general had two stars one below the other
The general had three smaller stars on a line one below the other.
There was the rank of marshal crossed batons below a crown.

The names given for the NCO's belong to the Airforce

Good articles about the later periods are very well covered by a59.

This is the chief of combined forces general staff in 1958. He is a Lt. General having the two stars vertically positioned on the shoulder board.

The same general in 1959 now having three stars , still beeing a Lt. general
