hello, the double " greca" symbol ( and Italian eagle ) was worn on their sleeves
by the Marshalls of Italy during the second world war.
These were the King Victor-Emmanuel and of course the duce Benito Mussolini.
My question is :
what kind of insignia did they wear on their shoulder patches ?
Thanks in advance.

The Italian army generals had the Savoy eagle on silver background.
The MVSM wore the Roman eagle and stars on dress uniform shoulder boards while on the shoulder straps the eagle was replaced by the fasces.
Again, this changed depending on the period and the department, also the type of fasces changed to one with shield and one without.
