Just got bigger and nastier. The Commonwealth states decide to pool together their armed forces. Again, being too unoriginal. You may savage me for this.

The combined commonwealth military sporting british-style rank insignia...
Not too much of a stretch, but I think they'd think of new insignia, while retaining the pattern.

These Drawings are my idea of what the ranks would be if the Commonwealth united.
Note the 2 Warrent Officer Ranks have flags on them, the one where the British Flag is would have another country's flag in the Commonwealth eg the Canadian flag.
Also note the Command Officer Ranks for the Army/Marines, Navy and Air Force with the Seniore Warrant Officer has the insignia of that field i.e. Army has 2 Crossed Swords.
