Hi Everybody!
Chuck Anderson here!!
I found another possible source of rank insignia that MIGHT yield some good information. (No guarantees of course, but worth a look-see!)
The name of the website is:...................................................................
"Separatist,Para-military,Intelligence and Political Organizations"
We already have FOUR (4) such entries into Pavel's website, which include; Chechen Republic,Kurdistan,Palestine and Western Sahara.
I've already written to one of the many up-coming nations on this site, namely the Republic of Abkhazia, and there are plenty more besides this such as Khalistan for example.
To visit this site, please go to:................................................................

More later! See ya'!!

Hi Chris!
Chuck here!!
Chris, if you'd like to avoid a "wild goose chase" in your quest for Panadania, you might type-in "Italian/Swiss border maps"and start searching from there. (Is Panadania a town,an enclave,a mountain or is it something else that may have been spelled incorrectly?) Is Panadania in Italy or Switzerland? You can sure narrow your search by asking questions like this in your search.
Good luck on your search, and please let us know what you find out!
See ya'!
Chuck

Chris WI: Padania
“The name ‘Padania’ has always been used with geographical meanings, until the Leghisti (members of the Lega Lombarda party) used it to intend a sort of "Northern Italian nation" (which, of course, does not and never existed).”

What, politically speakinh, is Padania is almost impossible to explain. It is a self proclaimed republic, in the northern of Italy, comprising the main industrial assets. Regions of Valle d'Aosta, Piemonte, Liguria, Lombardia, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia are part of this "toy" in the hand of the "Lega Nord" party, actually part of Mr Berlusconi Government. They have their own Flags, and a sort of "law enforcement" force, called "Green Shirts", that are mostly employed in politacl rallies and as a "civil defence" force in the Towns and Cities administered by the Lega Nord. Before Padania, Mr Bossi created the "Republic of the North", and in the '90s it was common that every year, in mid-september, Mr Bossi proclaimed the indipendence of the Northern Italy from the rest of the republic.
Obviously this were merely political actions to ensure him and his party popular support, and there were NEVER real intentions of secession, at least at the topo political levels.
They don't have any ranks at all.
In the '90sthe Lega Nord even struck coins, but they quickly faded away.
The Italian Govern never took seriouse steps to stop those suppesed secessions, as it was fairly clear that the had few popular support, and weren't backed by any real intentions or means of seceding.
Just weird....
