In this table:

One rank is missing and that's Mushir or Marshal.
Here is table correction:

Last rank is holding President of Syria Bashar al Assad and its offical rank of Syrian armed forces

Working on cleaning up a couple things and I'll be able to post more charts.
Assad Era is fading fast. He will likely be the last and only wearer of this 3-star pattern FM grade. Iran, Hezbullah, and Assad's Alawites need Homs to support a mini-state around the Latakia coastal Mnts.
The actual Fariq "Lieutenant General" Grade also has a more senior level called Imad[/i. Usually the Def. Min. and ex.defence ministers are granted this distinction.

I am not to turn this in to politics but as long as Russia supply him with weapons he wont turn power.

I guess if you're in charge of the country, you can award yourself whatever rank you want.

I like a lot of the new insignia Pavel has been posting. Making it look more realistic with textures and metalic devices and embroidered looking devices.
In line with that I have redone the Syria Chart I posted awhile back.
