Starcom was a short lived toyline and cartoon from the 1980s dealing with heroic astronauts fighting against the evil invading hordes of Emperor Dark.

Suprisingly enough for a toyline of that period, a consitant set of rank insignias was created and used on the tiny figurines (about 5 cm) consiting of bars and rockers:
